As part of the "Efforts to Cultivate the Next Generation of Advanced Researchers" promoted by this university under the Research University Enhancement Promotion Project, an information session on the "Doctoral Human Resources Database Pilot Operation" was held on October 8, 2014, for students in the Ph.D. program of the Graduate School of Science and Technology regarding the "Construction of a Database for Tracking Graduate Student Achievements and Careers."
Approximately 100 students attended the information session, which included an explanation of the purpose and overview of the doctoral human resources database by the National Institute of Science and Technology Policy (NISTEP) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, followed by a demonstration of how to operate the actual database screen.
Individual IDs and passwords for logging into the database were distributed to the approximately 300 students in the Ph.D. program who are eligible for this database, and registration will be carried out as needed going forward.
