Program Overview
Purpose of the Program
Keio University has built a research support system centered on the "Research Support Center" established in 1999. The "Organization for Research Promotion" established in 2003, and the "Office for Research Coordination and Administration" (reorganized in 2011), have played central roles. To fully demonstrate the research capabilities that Keio University possesses as a comprehensive university, we have established a support system covering the period from when faculty researchers acquire research funds to the completion and technology transfer, common to levels ranging from individual research to international research. In this program, we focus on developing a support system for the process of "connecting to and developing the next research project," which has not been sufficiently supported until now. In addition to strengthening the support system for current research projects, we aim to expand and develop into next-generation research projects and industry-academic joint development projects. We aim to build a system as a world-class research university capable of bringing about the "establishment of true science" and the "creation of new technology."
