[AIC Spring Break Intensive Course] Introduction to Web Scraping with Python will be held on Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 14.

In this workshop, you will learn about "web scraping," the process of automatically collecting information from the internet, through hands-on practice. We will use Python, a programming language that is widely used and easy to write. In the process of learning scraping, you will also deepen your understanding of basic Python syntax (using libraries) and HTML structure.

The goal is for participants to be able to perform simple scraping on their own and obtain the necessary data. Let's acquire skills useful for daily life and work while learning how web pages work.

【Target Audience】

Keio students and faculty/staff

・Anyone who wants to do practical things using Python can take the course, regardless of whether they are in the humanities or sciences.

・Regarding Python, it is desirable to have learned basic arithmetic operations, data structures, functions, libraries, etc.

・However, even those who are touching Python for the first time can participate as long as they have motivation and passion.
