The 18th Sakura Sports Festa 2025 will be held on Saturday, March 15.

The 18th Sakura Sports Festa 2025 will be held at Shimoda Ground and Shimoda Student Village under the theme of "Interaction between the Community and Students."

The Sakura Sports Festa aims to deepen interaction and build cooperative, lasting relationships through "sports"—a unique strength of the Athletic Association—to become a familiar presence for local residents. It is an event planned and operated voluntarily once a year by members of the five Athletic Association clubs active at Shimoda Ground (Baseball, Rugby, Soccer, Hockey, and Soft Tennis) as a token of their daily gratitude.

Following last year's return to in-person events after a five-year hiatus, this year's event will also be held in person.

On the day, we have planned "Shimolympics," where people of all ages from children to seniors can experience the joy of sports, as well as trial classes by each club and stage events by local residents. The executive committee and all members of the five Shimoda clubs look forward to your participation.
