Nikkei Inc., the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and the Keio University Institute for Journalism, Media & Communication Studies will hold a symposium in June as a student support project.
Some students may have questions or concerns about what will happen to the media due to GAFA and AI, and whether it is a safe choice for a career.
Reporters and engineers from Nikkei and the Financial Times (UK), who are active in reporting on International Political Economy, will hold discussions with students participating in the symposium. Please come to the venue and ask questions directly (special benefits for attendees included). Simultaneous Japanese-English interpretation will be provided.
Prior to this, a panel discussion titled "Trump and the Media" will also be held. Please join us for both.
The panel discussion is also open to non-students. Please apply from here.
