We will hold the 2024 Spring Semester Institute for Journalism, Media & Communication Studies Public Lecture, "Thinking about Journalism through History and Stories," featuring Naoki Prize-winning author and Keio University alumni Sayako Nagai as the lecturer. We look forward to your participation.
In today's world, everyone is a sender of information. Amidst the high-speed flow of vast amounts of information, from what position and angle do you view the modern era? By unraveling the history and backgrounds of stories from the past, we can see "who wrote the record from what position" in each era, and "what social issues existed when this story was written." Let's look for hints on how to find and share new information by developing a unique perspective.
