Congratulations to all new students on your admission. As is true of any era, we are living in a time where society seems caught in a chaotic whirlpool, but please continue to walk slowly while shining the light of your own self.
On a personal note, Schubert's "Unfinished" is the piece I last danced to at the Dai-ichi Seimei Hall in Yurakucho 45 years ago, when I decided to move from Japan to what was then West Germany. The Concierto de Aranjuez is a piece choreographed for me by Kazuo Ohno for my debut recital. "Winterreise" is the theme song of my journey.
