To enjoy landscapes that constantly change with the cycle of the seasons, we have traveled to where they exist from ancient times to the present day. On the other hand, since the Middle Ages, we have continued the practice of reconstructing and recreating various aspects of static landscapes using reproduction technologies such as books, prints, and photography.

This exhibition invites you on a journey through "Landscapes to Take Home" under seven themes, starting from the prehistory of landscapes seen in Western medieval manuscript illumination, to exotic landscapes conveyed by modern travelogues, ideal landscapes and the Grand Tour, picturesque journeys, and landscapes sent via postcards. It features manuscripts, rare books, prints, photographs, postcards, and travel tools.
