On Monday, October 21, 2024, the 2024 Fall Semester Mediacom Public Lecture "Godzilla Minus One's Academy Award Win and 20 Years of Japanese Cinema" will be held.

Japanese cinema has surpassed Hollywood films in domestic box office revenue for over 10 years. We will look back on the progress of the past 20 years, considering how Japanese cinema has grown and the success of "Godzilla Minus One".
