Industrial Revolution Britain was a monochrome world of coal black and soot gray. Is that really true? This workshop invites two researchers who were involved in the highly successful "Colour Revolution" exhibition held at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford from September 2023 to February 2024 to challenge this conventional wisdom. It is a workshop to imagine how colorful Industrial Revolution Britain was through literature and art. The workshop will be conducted in English.
