About Intellectual Property

We actively promote the technology transfer of intellectual property created at Keio University to companies, including startups, through licensing and the assignment of rights. The compensation obtained is then reinvested into the creation of new, outstanding knowledge, fostering a virtuous cycle of further societal implementation of the technology. Through this process, we contribute to the advancement of education, research, and medicine, the enhancement of socioeconomic vitality, and the creation of a rich culture.
