The exhibition 'Ephemera: Printed Matter and Expression' concentrates on the 'printed ephemera' such as exhibition posters and pamphlets produced for art events. These kinds of printed ephemera are widespread throughout society, though there are various types of 'ephemera'. In this exhibition, we introduce items from research centers and libraries in the cultural institutes that showcase the overlap between information transmission and experimental expression in postwar art. In addition, we are holding an exhibition of the works of Tatsuo Kawaguchi and Motohiro Tomii, two contemporary artists who have a keen interest in printed matter/ephemera.
