The Keio University Haptics Research Center (Location: Kawasaki, Kanagawa; Director: Kohei Onishi) and ABeam Consulting Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takahiro Yamada; hereinafter "ABeam Consulting") entered into a comprehensive partnership agreement on April 1, 2025, to promote the transition to the demonstration and deployment phase for the social implementation of "Real Haptics®," a technology developed by Keio University that transmits the sense of touch in real time. We are pleased to announce that the support scheme has now been established, enabling the full-scale launch of this initiative.

Through this partnership, we will facilitate the adoption and commercialization of Real Haptics technology by corporations and public entities. By ultimately promoting its widespread impact across society and industry, we aim to solve challenges such as labor shortages and the succession of technical skills resulting from a declining birthrate and aging population, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
