Keio University (located in Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kohei Ito) and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Manabu Chikumoto; hereinafter "Mitsubishi Chemical") have launched an endowed course on "New Social Systems and Science and Technology in the Society 5.0 Era" at the Keio University Graduate School of Science and Technology, starting in the spring semester of 2025. This course aims to cultivate human resources who can contribute to solving social issues through industry-academia collaboration, providing opportunities to broadly learn about the advanced science and technology and new social systems that will support the Society 5.0 era. As a platform for diverse stakeholders to freely discuss and co-create, it aims to establish a new educational model that integrates academia and industry.
