Keio University's Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (hereinafter "the Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship") has won the Grand Prix in the Startup Supporter category at the 6th IP BASE AWARD, hosted by the Japan Patent Office.
The Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship promotes commercialization support to connect the university's research outcomes with social implementation. This is achieved through intellectual property support, as well as industry-academia collaboration and the creation and nurturing of startups based on it. This award recognizes these efforts. Going forward, we will continue to promote the commercialization of innovative ideas and research outcomes originating from the university, create new value that contributes to solving social issues, and strive to vitalize an innovation ecosystem that has a lasting impact on society.
