The Keio Museum Commons (KeMCo) is launching "An Incidental Scene," a new exhibition series that introduces artworks, academic materials, and various other objects on a single display stand. This series is a new initiative that sheds light on the university's collections, artworks, and academic materials in a way that differs from conventional exhibitions.

The first installment will present contemporary artist Kazuo Okazaki's "Supplement to the Imperial Treasures" series in four parts throughout 2025. We invite you to enjoy encountering these objects as they appear in the everyday spaces of KeMCo.

Dates: Held in four parts, coinciding with the exhibition periods at KeMCo in 2025

Part 1 : Thursday, January 9–Friday, February 7, 2025 (Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays)

Special Openings: Saturday, January 18 and Saturday, February 1

Temporary Closures: Monday, January 20 and Monday, February 3
