Since its establishment in 2021, the Keio Museum Commons (KeMCo) has emphasized the importance of students not only visiting exhibitions and enjoying various programs but also actively participating in their planning and operation, exploring diverse ways for students to engage with the museum. We are pleased to announce an international roundtable, available for online viewing, on the theme of "Expanding Student Participation in University Museums." We will invite researchers involved in university museums from the University of Melbourne, the National University of Singapore, and Kyushu University to discuss how to place students at the center of museum activities and diversify their participation, sharing recent practices, discoveries, and challenges. Anyone interested in the initiatives of university museums is encouraged to register.
