Soichiro Mihara is an artist whose work reinterprets various substances and phenomena in our daily lives as art. Through the perspectives and methods of democratized technology that form the basis of media art, Mihara has presented installations that explore the nature of "open systems" that respond to the environment. This exhibition provides an overview of Mihara's recent creative activities and showcases his attempt to archive the core of his works as "recipes." In addition, it will introduce the composting project and the "material circulation" workshop practices that KeMCo and Mihara have been collaborating on with Keio Chutobu Junior High School since last year. Enjoy the thoughts and practices of an artist who transforms invisible subjects into works of art and describes them himself.
