The Keio Museum Commons (KeMCo) will hold an exhibition focusing on printed ephemera that function as media for dissemination in society, such as posters and pamphlets created for exhibitions and art events, from among the wide variety of items known as "ephemera." In particular, the exhibition will feature items from the archives of university Research Centers and Institutes and libraries that show an overlap between information transmission and experimental expression in postwar art. A two-person exhibition by contemporary artists with an interest in printed matter/ephemera (Tatsuo Kawaguchi and Motohiro Tomii) will also be held concurrently.
Dates: Monday, March 18–Friday, May 10, 2024 (Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays)
Special Openings: Saturday, March 30; Saturday, April 20
Temporary Closures: Monday, April 1; Tuesday, April 30–Thursday, May 2
Venue: Keio Museum Commons Exhibition Hall (East Annex, Mita Campus)
Hours: 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
