On September 27, 2023, the Keio University Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Director: Masayuki Amagai; Deputy Director: Kotaro Yamagishi) signed a collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services Japan G.K. (hereinafter, AWS Japan), the provider of the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud computing, to accelerate the creation and growth of university-originated startups.
Under this agreement, AWS Japan will collaborate with Keio University to provide computing resources to Keio University-affiliated startups and offer technical and human resource support and information required by startups and entrepreneurs at Keio University. The two parties will work together to support the creation and development of university-originated startups and promote the social implementation of educational and research outcomes by these startups, aiming to solve challenges for society as a whole.
