Winners of the 28th Keio Medical Science Prize Announced

Since 1996, Keio University has honored researchers who have made outstanding and creative achievements in the fields of medical sciences and life sciences and who are expected to achieve even greater global prominence. To date, nine recipients of this prize have gone on to become Nobel laureates, making it an award system unparalleled by any other Japanese university. The recipients of the 28th Keio Medical Science Prize this year are Dr. Kazutoshi Mori, a professor at the Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University, and Dr. Napoleone Ferrara, a professor at the University of California, San Diego, in the United States.
