This is an exhibition centered on new works by the artist Enrico Isamu Oyama, known for developing his unique "Quick Turn Structure (QTS)" motif on various media such as walls and canvases. After studying at Keio University, Oyama went on to graduate school at the Tokyo University of the Arts and now works between Tokyo and New York. For the opening of the Keio Museum Commons (KeMCo) in 2021, he created a commission work in the museum's studio. He is collaborating with KeMCo again for its first contemporary art exhibition. In recent years, Oyama has expanded his interest to the overlaps and shifts that arise from the fluctuation between flat and solid, and two and three dimensions. We invite you to enjoy the development of QTS in the experimental space of a university museum.
