Keio University Hospital (Hospital Director: Morio Matsumoto), Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. (President & Director: Kingo Hayashi; hereinafter "Chubu Electric Power"), and Medical Data Card, Inc. (President & CEO: Yasuyuki Suzuki; hereinafter "Medical Data Card") have expanded the online medical consultation system used at the Diabetes and Obesity Outpatient Clinic of Keio University Hospital to enable integration with the CareLink system from Medtronic Japan Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director: Rob Sandfelder; hereinafter "Medtronic Japan"). On January 27, 2022, they began providing online medical consultations for patients using insulin pump therapy with a continuous glucose monitoring function (hereinafter "SAP therapy") for the treatment of conditions such as type 1 diabetes.
