The Keio University Sports Medicine Research Center and the Graduate School of Health Management have been dedicated to efforts in Japan concerning the Global Action Plan on Physical Activity 2018-2030 (GAPPA), which was announced by the World Health Organization (WHO) in June 2018, and have been working on creating a Japanese version. With the completion of the Japanese version as a catalyst, KEIO SPORTS SDGs was launched to bring together stakeholders from within and outside Keio to consider and promote future actions toward the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and beyond.
We are pleased to announce that the "KEIO SPORTS SDGs Symposium 2022" will be held online. In fiscal year 2021, our project was selected for the Kanagawa Prefecture University-Originated Project Proposal System. At this symposium, we will share the results of our project, which has been advanced in collaboration with Kanagawa Prefecture, and discuss future developments.
