The pre-games training camp for Team GB for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games will begin in Yokohama City, Kawasaki City, and at Keio University. This pre-games training camp is the result of several years of coordination and preparation since 2016 between the UK, the cities of Yokohama and Kawasaki, and Keio University.
For the implementation of the pre-games training camp, Team GB, the cities of Yokohama and Kawasaki, and Keio University will collaborate based on the "Playbooks" provided by the Organizing Committee and the national government to thoroughly implement infectious disease control measures and operate a safe and secure pre-games training camp.
