Keio University's new university museum, the Keio Museum Commons (KeMCo), will hold its grand opening exhibition, "Cross-scapes," from Monday, April 19, 2021.

KeMCo is a museum that interconnects the university's cultural assets and creates a space for exchange among the people associated with them. This project will offer a glimpse into the exchanges that KeMCo generates through two exhibitions (April 19–June 18)—"Mojikei: The scenery of writing," which traces the development of writing culture from the distant Tang dynasty to the present day through masterpieces, and "Shukei: The scenery of gathering," which introduces works selected from Keio University's collection of cultural assets on the theme of human connection—as well as an international symposium, "Honkei: The scenery of books" (May 29). Various other events and workshops are also scheduled to be held during the exhibition period.
