On Friday, November 27, 2020, the Keio University Shin-kawasaki (K2) Town Campus will hold an online seminar by the Haptics Research Center. This year's theme is "Real Haptics Technology Finally Being Applied to Industry." The remote PCR testing system using force feedback, which is currently attracting attention and has been featured in news programs for its exhibition at international trade shows, is based on this very technology. The seminar will be presented in three parts, featuring the Keio University Haptics Research Center, which was the first in the world to realize this technology; MotionLib, Inc., a Keio University startup striving for its practical application; and case studies of joint research with companies.
