MotionLib, Inc. (Kawasaki, Kanagawa; CEO: Takahiro Mizoguchi), the Keio University Global Research Institute, Haptics Research Center (Kawasaki, Kanagawa; Center Director: Toshiyuki Murakami), and Yokohama National University (Yokohama, Kanagawa; President: Yuichi Hasebe) have developed a remote operation system that enables contactless PCR specimen collection with force and tactile feedback functionality using Real-Haptics. They conducted a basic verification of the technology together with physicians. Furthermore, by using motion data acquired through the system, they confirmed that the system can automatically perform the movements of a healthcare worker.
