The Keio University Graduate School of System Design and Management (Kohoku-ku, Yokohama; Dean: Hidekazu Nishimura; hereinafter "Keio SDM") and NEC Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Niino; hereinafter "NEC") have jointly developed an educational program to foster digital talent to accelerate NEC's digital business. This program provides training on the mindsets and behaviors required for digital transformation (DX) and will be used to develop digital talent in conjunction with the training in specialized technical fields that NEC has traditionally provided.

Keio SDM conducts research and education on, and implements in the real world, systems x design thinking, which integrates systems thinking—providing a holistic and systematic perspective on things—with design thinking, which creates new value by considering things from a human-centered perspective and leveraging diversity.

Meanwhile, NEC contributes to accelerating its customers' digital businesses by utilizing cutting-edge digital technologies such as biometrics, AI, cloud, and security.

Through this educational program, by combining and advancing the academic knowledge and advanced technologies held by both parties, they will address social issues in anticipation of various changes and create new value.
