The Major in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Keio University Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences will launch an "Integrated Master's and Doctoral Course" in April 2021, which will allow students to obtain both master's and doctoral degrees in as little as four years. Under this system, outstanding students who meet the screening criteria will be able to shorten their enrollment in the two-year master's program by one year, obtain their master's degree, and then proceed to the three-year Ph.D. program. This will make it possible to obtain a doctoral degree in eight years from undergraduate admission. Through this system, we aim to further promote the development of highly skilled personnel who can advance creative research and lead the future in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
