Keio University
Since their establishment in 1990, the Faculty of Policy Management and the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University's Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) have been the first in Japan to implement the "Admissions Office (AO) entrance examination," which evaluates applicants from multiple and comprehensive perspectives, in addition to general entrance examinations based on academic ability. They have produced many graduates who are active on the global stage in various fields.
Based on this 30-year track record, starting with the AO entrance examination for the 2020 academic year (for students enrolling in or after 2021), we will evolve our admissions process to be more open to the world. The number of application periods and examinations conducted in English will be increased to four times a year, and applicants will be able to freely choose their enrollment period (April or September) at the time of application for each examination. At the same time, to accept a more diverse range of students, the enrollment capacity for the AO entrance examination will also be increased. We aim for further globalization and to create a campus where "pioneers who will shape the future gather at SFC from around the world and move the world."
