On Saturday, March 30, the Keio University Athletic Association will hold the 12th Sakura Sports Festa at the Shimoda Student Village (Hiyoshi-honcho, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama City) under the theme of "Interaction between the Local Community and Students."

The Sakura Sports Festa is an event planned and run independently by members of five Athletic Association clubs active in the Shimoda area—the Baseball, Rugby Football, Soccer, Field Hockey, and Soft Tennis clubs—to express their daily gratitude. The event aims to make the Keio University Athletic Association more familiar to the local community and to build a cooperative and lasting relationship by deepening the exchange between them through the unique medium of sports, a hallmark of the Athletic Association.

On the day of the event, activities will include the "Shimolympics," where everyone from children to the elderly can experience the joy of sports, as well as hands-on classes offered by each club and stage events by members of the local community. In addition, the rugby field will be open as a free space, allowing visitors to enjoy themselves as they please on the spacious artificial turf ground.

We would appreciate your assistance in announcing this event and providing media coverage.
