ALAXALA Networks Corporation (HQ: Kawasaki, Kanagawa; President and CEO: Ikuho Minamikawa; hereinafter "ALAXALA") has developed a communication technology that can flexibly change communication performance and functions by arbitrarily combining (reconfiguring) hardware resources within communication nodes to meet the demands of communication services. This technology is expected to enable the expansion of communication processing performance to 400 Gbps while maintaining the processing flexibility of communication nodes. With this technology, it is anticipated that equipment installation costs associated with future demand fluctuations will be reduced amidst the diversification of communication services. These results will be exhibited jointly with Professor Naoaki Yamanaka of the Department of Information and Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, at the SC18 International Conference and Exhibition, to be held from November 11 to 16, 2018, in Dallas, Texas, USA.
