In response to the "Interim Report on the Emergency Survey Regarding the Securing of Fairness in Admissions Selection for the Department of Medicine at Schools of Medicine" issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) on October 23, 2018, we report the following.

There have been no cases that could be considered inappropriate regarding the general entrance examination for the Keio University School of Medicine.

*Note: We underwent an on-site inspection by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) on October 11, 2018.

In the entrance examinations for the university's School of Medicine, we do not engage in any score adjustments based on factors such as gender or an applicant's status as a recent high school graduate versus a repeat examinee. Furthermore, we do not give preferential treatment to any specific applicants to ensure their admission.

The university will continue to strive to ensure fairness in our admissions selection based on our Admissions Policy.
