On June 26, 2018, the "Mita-hyoron ONLINE" website was launched to distribute articles online from "Mita-hyoron (official monthly journal published by Keio University Press)," Keio University's official journal with a 120-year history.
"Mita-hyoron (official monthly journal published by Keio University Press)" was first published in March 1898 as "Keio Gijuku Gakuho" and was renamed to its current title, "Mita-hyoron," in 1915. After a period of suspended publication during the war, it celebrated its 1000th issue in 1998, the 100th anniversary of its first publication. As of June 2018, it has reached its 1223rd issue.
Having evolved alongside Keio University and society for 120 years, "Mita-hyoron (official monthly journal published by Keio University Press)" has gained a reputation as a unique, compact general-interest magazine published by a university, unlike any other. This is due to its broad insights from a rich lineup of contributors not limited to Keio University alumni and its diverse range of themes that address timely social issues.
"Mita-hyoron ONLINE" aims to be a site where readers can easily enjoy these diverse articles not only on PCs but also on smartphones and tablets.
