Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance Inc.
The Keio University Institute for Advanced Biosciences (Director: Masaru Tomita; hereinafter "I-A-B") and Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance Inc. (President and CEO: Keiji Nishizawa; hereinafter "Sompo Japan Nipponkoa") have signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with the aim of solving social issues and contributing to the local community and society by utilizing advanced science and technology.
In conjunction with this agreement, Sompo Japan Nipponkoa will establish the "Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Business Lab Tsuruoka" within the I-A-B campus center (Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture), and will work together to achieve this goal by integrating academia, business, and the local community.
