A research team led by Project Professor Masahiro Sugimoto from the Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University (Tsuruoka, Yamagata; Director Masaru Tomita), in collaboration with a research team from Tokyo Medical University, has developed a more accurate method for detecting colorectal cancer using metabolome analysis of urine and artificial intelligence.

These research findings were published in the international journal International Journal of Molecular Sciences on March 8, 2018 (Japan Standard Time).
