Keio University, in collaboration with the World Bank, will host a lecture by Kristalina Georgieva, World Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The World Bank Group is an international development finance institution that provides loans and technical assistance to governments and government agencies in developing countries, and offers investment and financing for private sector projects in those countries.

Since 1996, the Keio University Graduate School of Business and Commerce has hosted the "World Bank International Taxation Program," a degree program funded by the World Bank aimed at training future leaders in tax administration for developing countries. Building on the relationship established through this program, we are pleased to host this lecture by Kristalina Georgieva, World Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The lecture will introduce the current development challenges facing developing countries, including gender equality, and the World Bank's initiatives to address them.
