Keio University is pleased to announce that it will host a lecture by James Bullard, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, organized by the Faculty of Economics. This lecture is intended to provide an opportunity to learn about the US economy and monetary policy from the perspective of a key policymaker.

Our Faculty of Economics is the oldest of its kind in Japan, and its predecessor, the college department of political economy, was established in 1890. Keio University recognized the importance of economics from an early stage and continues to provide students with various opportunities, aiming to cultivate individuals who can not only master economics as a specialized field but also acquire a broad range of intellectual skills and view the economy and society from multiple perspectives.

Following the lecture, there will be a session for members of the press. We would be grateful for your media coverage.
