CIOMS (Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences) is an international academic organization established in 1949 by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) and WHO (World Health Organization) in Geneva, Switzerland. It develops numerous international guidelines regarding medical sciences research and pharmaceutical affairs, playing an important role in the global medical and drug discovery fields.
The publication released this time is the Japanese version of "Good Governance Practice for Research Institutions (GGPRI)" issued by CIOMS in 2023.
While honoring the achievements of these two students who experienced the forefront of global research integrity through this translation, it is expected that these guidelines will be widely utilized in research institutions within Japan.
