2022.06.06

We have been informed that starting from April 2022, training credits from The Center for Pharmaceutical Education and Training (G01) will be issued electronically through the Pharmacists E-learning and Certification System (PECS).

Please be assured that under our faculty's Certified Pharmacist Training Program (G04), credits that have been digitized on PECS can be used for certification applications in the same way as conventional credit stickers by following the procedures below. There is no limit to the number of credits that can be used.

Additionally, credit stickers issued by our faculty (G04) can still be used for certification applications to The Center for Pharmaceutical Education and Training (G01) as before. For information on the application method, please contact the Center directly.

[Procedure for Certification Application]

When applying for our faculty's Certified Pharmacist certification (new or renewal) using training credits on PECS, a certificate of credits that can be output (issued) from PECS will be treated as a substitute for credit stickers. Please issue and print the certificate of credits and mail it, along with the necessary documents such as the faculty's Certified Pharmacist Training Handbook and application form, to the faculty's Certified Pharmacist Training Program Committee.

We have been informed that when issuing the certificate of credits, you can select the provider to which the credits will be submitted (this selection cannot be changed later). To prevent the duplicate use of credits, certificates of credits issued with a provider other than our faculty (G04) selected cannot be used. Therefore, please be very careful when issuing them.

It is not necessary to attach the certificate of credits to your training handbook, but please record the date of attendance, training topic name (lecture theme), summary, and cumulative credits for each training session in your training handbook.

Please note that our faculty does not have detailed information regarding PECS. Therefore, for any inquiries, including the procedure for issuing certificates of credits, please contact The Center for Pharmaceutical Education and Training (G01) directly.
