International Exchange and Study Abroad

Yukichi Fukuzawa, the founder of Keio University, traveled abroad three times. He authored his observations in works such as "Things Western (Seiyō Jijō)," playing a leading role in spreading Western knowledge throughout Japan. Inheriting Fukuzawa's spirit, the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences offer programs for overseas training and practical experience to cultivate individuals who can lead Japanese pharmacy with an international perspective.

Overseas Advanced Practical Training

Through preparatory lectures and clinical training at affiliated hospitals of overseas partner schools, students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for pharmacists with an international perspective.

Advanced Regulatory Science Overseas Seminar

Through preparatory lectures and on-site training at relevant institutions in the United States and elsewhere, students learn about international drug development and regulatory science.

Thai Pharmacy Experience

Through learning about medical care and pharmaceutical education in Thailand and conducting local visits, students develop the foundation to become pharmacists and researchers with a rich international character.

Laos Primary Health Care Health Team Activity Project

Through joint preparatory lectures by the three medical faculties and fieldwork in Laos, students approach public health and strategies for sustainable international aid.
