The Keio University Faculty of Pharmacy participates in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)'s Program for Developing Next-Generation Cancer Professionals, specifically the "Plan for Training Multidisciplinary Human Resources to Lead Next-Generation Cancer Care."

We are pleased to announce that a public lecture (Cancer Professional Training Workshop) will be held as follows.

The learning objectives for this course are as follows:

■ To be able to explain the characteristics of malignant tumors and understand the therapeutic effects of chemotherapeutic agents.

■ To understand the characteristics of molecularly targeted drugs.

■ To understand the mechanism of action of immune checkpoint inhibitors.

■ To understand the latest radiation therapies.

■ To understand the benefits and future challenges of combining chemoradiotherapy and immunotherapy.
