The 2nd Faculty of Pharmacy Inter-Departmental Badminton Tournament Held

On Monday, December 8, the 2nd Faculty of Pharmacy Inter-Departmental Badminton Tournament was held at the Shiba-Kyoritsu Campus gymnasium.

  All students in the Faculty of Pharmacy belong to a laboratory (department) and are dedicated to their research. This tournament was planned and managed by the Badminton Team with the aim of deepening friendships among undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty members within their departments and across departmental boundaries through competition.  

  On the day of the event, a total of 20 departments participated—exceeding last year's numbers—and enthusiastic doubles matches took place. Due to the high number of applicants, several departments entered with two teams, and many students were seen practicing in the gymnasium even before the event began. During the matches, students and faculty members worked together to produce a series of fine plays, and the cheering from the audience was very lively.  

After winning a series of heated, close matches, the Division of Pharmaceutics was crowned the second champion. At the awards ceremony, the championship trophy was presented by Yuki Enoki, Senior Lecturer and Chairperson of the Badminton Team. The Division of Pharmacotherapeutics took second place, and the Pharmacodynamics (Division of) took third place, bringing the successful tournament to a close.
