2023 Department of Pharmacy Graduation Research Presentation Session

The 2023 Department of Pharmacy Graduation Research Presentation Session was held on Saturday, November 11, in the Multipurpose Hall of Building 1 on the Shiba-Kyoritsu Campus, providing a venue for sixth-year students of the Department of Pharmacy to present the results of their graduation research.

The session was conducted in a poster presentation format, and posters showcasing the research findings, the culmination of the sixth-year students' hard work, were displayed at the venue. Students stood in front of their posters, explained their research to two designated faculty members for feedback, and then engaged in a Q&A session to receive their comments. They also explained their research to other faculty members and held discussions about their work.

Since being assigned to a laboratory in the fall semester of their fourth year, sixth-year students of the Department of Pharmacy have dedicated much of their time, outside of their practical training at hospitals and pharmacies, to their graduation research. Although this research is aimed at making new discoveries, results often do not turn out as expected. By addressing the new challenges that arise from these unexpected outcomes, students hone their problem-solving skills. As this was an opportunity to present the results of their long hours and tremendous effort, every student, though nervous, gave a passionate presentation.
