Report on the 14th Shiba-Kyoyaku Festival

October 12, 2021

The 14th Shiba-Kyoyaku Festival, the school festival of the Faculty of Pharmacy, was held for two days on Saturday, October 9, and Sunday, October 10. Considering the COVID-19 situation, it was held online for the second time, following last year, and was viewed by 714 people.

In line with this year's theme, "Blooming," we were able to deliver a variety of elaborate projects designed to bring brightness and hope to the hearts of all participants.

In addition to performances by student organizations showcasing their daily activities such as dance and juggling, campus tours from the perspective of Faculty of Pharmacy students, and introductions to school life, academic events such as hands-on training and laboratory introductions, which are usually held on campus, were also streamed. We believe this allowed viewers to feel closer to the atmosphere of the Shiba-Kyoritsu Campus and the appeal of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Furthermore, the consultation session for prospective students provided a valuable opportunity to hear directly from Faculty of Pharmacy students via live stream.

The second year of the online event, marked by ingenuity and new challenges, concluded successfully without any major issues, thanks to the coordination of the Shiba-Kyoyaku Festival executive committee with various related parties and the implementation of infection control measures.
