First Inter-Laboratory Badminton Tournament Held at the Faculty of Pharmacy

On Monday, December 16, the first Faculty of Pharmacy inter-laboratory badminton tournament was held at the gymnasium on the Shiba-Kyoritsu Campus.

At the Faculty of Pharmacy, all students belong to a laboratory to work on their graduation research. This tournament was planned by the Faculty of Pharmacy Badminton Team with the aim of fostering friendship within and between laboratories through badminton, with undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty members from each laboratory participating.

On the day of the event, fierce matches were played by a total of 23 teams from 17 laboratories (*When two teams from one laboratory participated, they were designated as Team A and Team B). As the matches progressed, the cheering from the crowd grew more enthusiastic.

After the intense competition, the Division of Molecular Design and Creation Team A was crowned the first champion.

At the awards ceremony, the championship trophy was awarded by Senior Assistant Professor Yuki Enoki, president of the Faculty of Pharmacy Badminton Team. The runner-up was the Division of Pharmacotherapeutics Team A, and third place went to the Division of Pharmaceutical Care Sciences, Center for Social Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care Sciences team.
