Scholarships/Financial Aid

Keio University provides at least 110 of its own scholarships (internal scholarships) all of which are non-repayable grants. Among them are the Faculty of Pharmacy’s and the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences’ own scholarships.

Faculty of Pharmacy’s and the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences’ Own Scholarships

They are intended for students enrolled in the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

KP Mita-kai Naomi Hoshino Memorial Scholarship for Faculty of Pharmacy

This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a strong desire to study, are excellent in terms of character and academic performance, are in good health and are recognized as facing financial hardship in pursuing their studies.

Eligible persons: Second-year undergraduate students and above

Gross amount: ¥200,000/year

Keio University Faculty of Pharmacy Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is intended for students who have a strong desire to study, are excellent in terms of character and academic performance, yet are recognized as facing financial difficulty in pursuing their studies. Its purpose is to cultivate exceptional individuals capable of contributing to society through pharmacy.

Eligible persons: Second-year undergraduate students and above

Gross amount: ¥200,000/year (planned)

Eligible persons: Graduate school master’s program students

Gross amount: ¥400,000/year (planned)

Eligible persons: Graduate school doctoral program students

Gross amount: Up to ¥700,000/year

Keio University Comprehensive Medical Education Encouragement Fund

Scholarships are awarded to students who are excellent in terms of character and academic performance who need financial support, to cultivate talented individuals capable of contributing to society through pharmacy.

Eligible persons: Second-year undergraduate students and above

Gross amount: ¥100,000/year (planned)

Eligible persons: Graduate school master’s program students

Gross amount: ¥400,000/year (planned)

Eligible persons: Graduate school doctoral program students

Gross amount: Up to ¥700,000/year

Keio University Scholarship Schemes

In order to provide an environment in which students can devote themselves to their studies and to support the development of individuals who can play an active role as well-rounded intellectuals, Keio University offers a variety of scholarships to meet the needs of students, including scholarships for students with outstanding grades, to provide support for sudden changes in family financial situations, and assistance for students from regional areas as well as for overseas study.
