Japan-China-Republic of Korea Cybersecurity Track 2

Dialogue Held in Seoul, South Korea On September 26 and 27, 2019, the 4th Japan-China-Republic of Korea Cybersecurity Track 2 Dialogue was held at Korea University in Seoul, South Korea. Experts from research institutions and internet companies, including KGRI, Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd., the National Institute for Defense Studies, the China Institute of International Studies (CIIS), Korea University, and the Institute for National Security Strategy (INSS) in South Korea, discussed issues such as the progress of cyber legislation in the three countries, international developments in cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, cyber incident response, and Japan-China-Republic of Korea cyber relations.

The Japan-China-Republic of Korea Cybersecurity Track 2 Dialogue is an important trilateral dialogue platform jointly launched in 2016 by Keio University, the China Institute of International Studies (CIIS), and Korea University, and is held annually on a rotating basis. The 1st dialogue was held at Korea University in Seoul in 2016, the 2nd dialogue was held at the China Institute of International Studies in Beijing in 2017, and the 3rd dialogue was held at Keio University in 2018.
