Center Overview

This organization promotes interdisciplinary research that transcends the boundaries of faculties and graduate schools to support the sustainable development of a super-mature society from the perspectives of longevity, security, and creativity. Keio University will realize its Super Global initiative concept by further enhancing its international recognition through research in longevity, security, and creativity, and at the same time, by striving to increase the number of high-quality, internationally co-authored papers through international joint research.

The Security Cluster Research Center will advance its research using internal research grants from within Keio, such as the (tentatively named) "Cluster Research Promotion Grant" scheduled to be established in fiscal year 2015, as seed money. It will also acquire research funds from both Japan and abroad to further develop its research, thereby enhancing its role as a research showcase for Keio University both domestically and internationally.
